We have always believed in the importance of perfect timing and being true to nature. The impeccable expression of our Occasio wines showcases the terroir and unique attributes of the Livermore Valley, where the gravel-based soil from hillside vineyards renders exquisitely concentrated fruit.
Although it is often said that great wines begin in the vineyard, they are crafted in the winery. It is the winemaker’s job to translate the essence of the vineyard without altering its identity. This translation benefits from a minimalist approach to winemaking, whereby the style of the winemaker is best noticed by its absence.
By working with dedicated growers, superb vineyard locations and by limiting production, Occasio Winery strives to craft wines that best express the soul of Livermore Valley.
